The icon of the Holy Mother of God Soul Savior, belongs to the iconography of the Holy Mother of God of Psychosostria (Savior of souls), so named after the Byzantine icon in the church of Holy Mother of God Psychosostria which was built in Constantinople during the Byzantine Empire.

The figure of the Holy Mother of God Soul Savior, is represented waist-high with the little Christ on her left hand. With her head, the Mother of God is slightly tilted towards Christ and shows him as the source of salvation for humanity. Christ gives a blessing with his right hand and holds a closed scroll in his left hand.

Icon made of 925 sterling silver, made in the forging technique. The silver icon is mounted on a base and is framed in a decorative wooden frame with glass. The framed icon is packed and protected in a suitable box.
